The design defines a coherent urban entity that, over time, directs and at the same time embodies the densification of the station area in form. The pre-station area with the new piazzetta and the park forms a continuous urban skeleton, which is spatially framed by a composition of recognizable urban elements: the curved colonnade of the bus terminal, the stepped volume of the city hall building, both facing the piazzetta, the distinctive roof of the parking garage and the peripheral border formed by multi-storey city villas towards the city centre. The park is a layered urban garden with diverse vegetation and a water system that follows the geography of the place and is centered around a pond. The main goal is to create an accessible multimodal transport hub that is also a fully welcoming public space, and to gradually establish the Křižanova Pila area as a complementary urban centre, anchored in the civic consciousness of Valašské Meziříčí thanks to its legibility and spatial quality.
